We're in a series featuring four hot trends we saw at High Point Market this year. Today, we're sharing trend number three: the scalloped edge trend. We have seen scalloped edges pop up over the last couple of years and market showed us that it doesn't have any evidence of slowing down in 2024. One of the things I love about it is that you could go full board with them for a feminine flair or keep it to an accent piece to add a touch of whimsy (see beds we found at Universal Furniture below) Either way, it's hard to go wrong with this fun design whether it is in case goods, lighting, or fabric. I think my favorite of this group is the sweet twin-sized day bed by Sarah Sherman Samuel at Lulu & Georgia with the scalloped rails and the dainty metal legs. A close 2nd are the (very affordable) scallop pendant lights that come in a rainbow of fun colors from Beautiful Halo. If it's too hard to choose a color- why not get them all to make a fun statement?!
